The Alafia Quartet prides itself on affordable rates and unsurpassed quality in the Tampa Bay area. Our musicians are highly trained, with advanced degrees in music performance from the world's finest Conservatories and Universities. Our group is composed of members of the area’s most elite musical groups including The Florida Orchestra and Opera Tampa. Our members have been performing chamber music in thousands of weddings collectively and we pride ourselves on our experience, professionalism, service, and quality.

In a typical ceremony, we will perform at these moments:
* Thirty minutes of prelude music before the ceremony as guests are being seated
* Seating of mothers and grandmothers
* Processional of the wedding attendants
* The Bridal Processional
* Unity Candle/Communion/Reflection/Signing of the Registrar
* Recessional/exit music after the couple has been presented as husband and wife
* A short postlude as guests are leaving the ceremony
For cocktail hour, reception or special events, we play a wide variety of music including light classical, opera, tango, and popular Broadway showtunes. Our music will create an upbeat and festive atmosphere for your celebration.
We will also gladly accompany singers whenever possible. A short 30 minute rehearsal just before the prelude music is necessary for this service. Please inquire for more details.

Ensemble	First Hour	Each Additional Hour
Quartet Two violins, Viola and Cello This ensemble has the largest repertoire and the fullest sound, recommended for most weddings. Our most requested ensemble.	600.	300.
Trio 2 violins and a cello A budget friendly choice, ideal for most weddings in small areas, has a smaller sound, slightly smaller repertoire.	475.	225.
Duo 2 violins or violin and cello (your choice of instruments) Excellent background music, cannot perform all wedding selections. Recommended for very small weddings or light classical for parties.	350.	150.
Solo (your choice of instrument) Ideal for extremely small weddings or special events. Strolling violin available.	225.	100.
Add a harp to your ensemble For a magical touch! * An additional $50 fee applies to outdoor occasions with harp.	225. *	100.
